Transaction Fees

How Steader Pricing Works

It's free to join and list products! You only pay a transaction fee when you make a sale.

Transaction Fees

When you sell through Steader, there are two small fees:

1. Steader Fee

  • Base fee: $0.58
  • Percentage: 3% on first $50, then 1% on amounts over $50

2. Payment Processing (Stripe)

  • Typically 2.9% + $0.30 for card payments
  • See Stripe pricing for details

Example: Selling $65 of Produce

Steader fee:

  • Base: $0.58
  • 3% on first $50 = $1.50
  • 1% on remaining $15 = $0.15
  • Total Steader fee = $2.23

Stripe fee: $2.19 (card payment)

Total fees: $4.42 (about 6.8%)
